ART source is a mentoring and development programme that identifies, nurtures and develops Manukau City’s emergent creative and cultural entrepreneurs.
ART source invests in the development of the ideas and skills of Manukau City’s creative practitioners, and assists them to find sustainable strategies and pathways forward.
Cornerstones of the ART source programme
An individually supportive approach:
- participants each have a team of mentors and supporters built around them to help determine what assistance they need to develop their creative enterprise. The group aspect of the programme builds a sense of collegial support, community and a network for the programme participants.
Individual development programmes:
- offers tailored development packages designed to be individually responsive to the needs of those who have talent, promise and the drive to make their enterprise happen. The development packages include a range of practical, individually appropriate ways to develop outcomes for the participant, including mentoring, relationship building, skills building, strategy identification and plan formulation, seed funding.
Group development programme:
- Offers networking within the group of participants and improves connections and networking into the creative sector
- Offers events and opportunities to network and learn from specialists and tap into the business, education and local government sector
