ART venture is a world-class acceleration programme bringing together the arts, business, education and investment communities to back high-achieving creative entrepreneurs and producers intent on growing Auckland?s cultural capital into rich creative and economic outcomes for Auckland city-region and New Zealand.
Targeting experienced creative entrepreneurs drawn from throughout the Auckland region, ART venture backs up to ten programme participants per year through a customised development programme that serves and adds value to the participant creative entrepreneurs, their enterprises and to the strategic development of Auckland's creative sector.
Cornerstones of the ART venture programme
Professional business and career development assessments:
- A participant led process, carried out by experienced professionals, to identify development needs.
Group workshop programme:
- Workshops for programme participants held throughout the year lead by specialists and focus on specific development areas.
Individual creative entrepreneur development plan:
- Each participant, with support and guidance, produces a plan that supports their development as a creative entrepreneur during the course of the year, allowing the participant to access investment funding. The plan is anchored in at least one project that the participant will accelerate during the year.
Investment fund:
- Each participant will have access to a pool of investment funding that is available as seed funding capital to enable the participant to leverage an opportunity, a contact, a funding source and/or any other resources that will assist their acceleration as a creative entrepreneur through the project they are working on.
Coaching and Mentoring Support
- Programme facilitators / coaches work with participants to make connections and contacts to support their development plans and projects.
